Focus on Me

While the title of this post may sound a bit selfish I have found that placing more emphasis on myself is a good thing. How much time & energy do we use trying to fix and correct others? As we ourselves, bit by bit, crumble away. The more I look at the details of my life, the habits I've created and the decisions I've made, it's given me more insight to who I am. We often lose our identity by changing slowly into who others think we should be. Have you ever stopped and asked yourself, "who am I?" Are your choices based on the ideas others hold of you or do you live life with the freedom to make choices based on what you want & what's best for you? Turn the spotlight inward and live your life as well as you should. It really is an inside job. As we continue to grow and change internally it brings a deeper sense of peace & contentment. This opens us up to heal, let go and flourish. Which allows so many issues to flow to the surface so those things can be dealt with. As I focus on me, more of who I am is revealed and the less I care about the opinions of others. Never forget, we are unstuck, and we are free!
