As my life goes on I am beginning to see more clearly the importance of caring and loving myself more. We often give too much of that love out and retain very little for ourselves. Being good to yourself will be different for each person. To me it includes sleeping well and letting go of the stresses of the day. Which includes the problems of others, no longer holding on to people's issues. Being mindful of my needs and listening to the signals my body is giving me. At times the most loving act you can show towards yourself is simply saying no or letting the call go to voice mail or spend the day with yourself. The point is to value the life God has so graciously given us, think about all you've overcome. Don't you deserve to treat yourself with dignity and honor. Yes. It’s a concept most of us overlook time and time again, in many different areas. We stress And overload ourselves on a job that doesn’t truly value your work, your talents or your presence. The proof is in the paycheck, in the lack or promotion and enem the quick turnaround of replacing you.
And then there’s our personal lives.
We Often pride ourselves in the way we Care for Everyone else. We Shoulder their burdens trying to find solutions to THEIR problems, we negate and neglect our own well-being and things that should be priority for us to try to save others
