Who has your thoughts?

There are so many voices and opinions in our world today. Many people have lost their ability or desire to think for themselves and have chosen to follow the crowd. By now we should all know that the best is often found on the road less traveled. No longer do I want to make choices based on what someone else thinks is right for me. God placed this thought in my heart that when I choose the ideas of others over my own that I'm saying their opinion is more valuable than mine. Sometimes we forget that people's motives aren't always good. Scripture reminds us to seek God's way of doing things first. As we do He will reveal the way to us. In full truth God's way at least from my experience is usually slower and longer but it's always better. It's not always easier but in the end it's the superior way. Let me encourage you to examine your thoughts and behavior, who's the driving force behind your decisions? Are you living the life you're meant to live or the one someone else has carved out for you? Lord, with your guidance let me live as well as you designed me to live. And fulfill the purpose I was created for. I hope today's post inspires you to align your thoughts with God's way of thinking which is always higher than ours. Don't allow people to control your mind, think for yourself. And never forget, we are unstuck, and we are free!
